Energy Management and ICT Integration

At Andijan State Technical Institute (ADTI), all programs related to energy and climate change are strategically planned, implemented, monitored, and evaluated through the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

During the planning stage, the institute employs digital energy modeling and simulation tools to forecast electricity demand, analyze solar potential, and optimize the placement of renewable systems on campus. The Energy Efficiency and Green Campus Committee uses online data management platforms to coordinate projects and plan activities with different departments.

In the implementation stage, the institute integrates smart technologies such as automated lighting systems, motion sensors, and temperature control units across classrooms and administrative buildings. Solar panels installed on institute rooftops are connected to an online monitoring system that tracks energy generation in real time. ICT tools are also used to organize virtual workshops, awareness campaigns, and online courses focused on energy conservation and sustainability.

For monitoring, the institute has introduced a digital energy tracking system that records monthly electricity consumption from both conventional and renewable sources. Data are stored in a cloud-based management platform that allows the administration to analyze performance and compare results between buildings. This enables timely maintenance and quick detection of inefficiencies.

During the evaluation phase, the collected data are analyzed using visualization software to measure reductions in carbon emissions, electricity consumption, and operational costs. Evaluation reports are shared digitally with management and academic departments to improve transparency and ensure evidence-based decision-making.

The integration of ICT in every phase has made Andijan State Technical Institute a model for data-driven energy management and climate action in higher education.
