Over the past three years, Andijan State Technical Institute has shown consistent progress in organizing and promoting sustainability and environment-related activities. In 2022, the institute held 121 events focused on environmental awareness, sustainable energy, waste management, and climate action. These initiatives engaged both students and academic staff, strengthening the culture of sustainability across the university community.

In 2023, the number of sustainability-oriented events increased to 134, marking a clear indication of growth in the institute’s commitment to environmental responsibility and education for sustainable development. These events included seminars, workshops, clean-up campaigns, energy conservation campaigns, and collaborative research discussions on green innovation. They served as platforms for knowledge sharing, student involvement, and the development of practical skills related to sustainable living and eco-friendly technologies.

By 2024, the total number of sustainability and environmental programs reached 152, representing a notable upward trend over the three-year period. This continuous growth demonstrates the institute’s proactive approach to integrating sustainability into academic, research, and community service activities. On average, the institute has organized approximately 135 events per year, reflecting its long-term dedication to promoting environmental stewardship and aligning institutional goals with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Overall, these achievements underline Andijan State Technical Institute’s leadership in fostering environmental consciousness and sustainability education within higher education in Uzbekistan.
