Campus Safety and Security
Ensuring the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors is a top priority of Andijan State Technical Institute (ASTI). The campus is equipped with a comprehensive security infrastructure that includes 24/7 surveillance through strategically placed CCTV cameras covering main entrances, academic buildings, dormitories, laboratories, libraries, and public spaces. Security personnel are stationed throughout the campus to monitor daily activities and respond promptly to any emergency situation. Access to key facilities is controlled through monitored entry points, and identification badges are required for students, academic staff, and employees.
The institute has implemented strict fire safety measures across all campus buildings. Fire alarms, smoke detectors, emergency lighting systems, and fire extinguishers are installed in classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, dormitories, and public facilities in accordance with national safety regulations. Regular fire drills are conducted in cooperation with the regional emergency services to familiarize students and employees with evacuation routes and emergency response procedures.
Medical and first-aid services are available on campus to provide immediate assistance in the event of illness or injury. The campus medical center is staffed by qualified healthcare professionals during working hours, while first-aid kits and emergency contact information are located throughout university buildings. Cooperation with nearby hospitals and emergency medical services ensures rapid response and ambulance support whenever required.
To strengthen the campus safety culture, ASTI regularly organizes awareness campaigns, seminars, and practical training on personal safety, disaster preparedness, occupational health, emergency management, and risk reduction. These activities improve preparedness, encourage responsible behavior, and help create a safe, secure, and supportive learning and working environment for the entire university community.
